Baris Akis
Biography
Baris Akis is a Turkish-born entrepreneur and the co-founder and President of Human Capital, a venture firm and engineering talent agency with over $250 million in assets under management and a network of more than 5,000 members. Akis graduated from Stanford University in 2016 with a degree in Computer Science. During his early college years, he founded and sold a web development automation business. He also co-founded and served as president of the Stanford Social Entrepreneurial Students’ Association (SENSA). Raised in Istanbul, Akis founded the Youth Vision Association, a nonprofit organization collaborating with the United Nations to equip underprivileged students with professional and communication skills.
